Medical Mutual of Ohio SuperWell QuitLine

Carolina Care Health Plan - Consumers Life

SuperwellNational Jewish Health® provides services for Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) for the operation of the Tobacco QuitLine. Operations commenced in March of 2008 and were expanded to include all of Medical Mutual of Ohio members in January 2009. National Jewish Health has responsibility for all activities associated with the call center, including all intake calls; performing a series of up to five cessation coaching calls; provision of NRT to participants; development and distribution of educational materials, program evaluation and outcomes reporting; and participation in marketing to promote the program. Calls for the SuperWell QuitLine program are either transferred from the Ohio Tobacco QuitLine (provided also by National Jewish Health) if they come through 1-800-QUIT-NOW, or through a direct toll-free number supplied to Medical Mutual by National Jewish Health.
