Lung Line is a free information service for healthcare consumers provided by National Jewish Health, and the service is staffed by registered nurses who have years of clinical experience. These nurses provide educational information on lung, allergic and immune diseases to healthcare consumers who call, e-mail or contact National Jewish Health through our Web site or other Web sites.

Since Lung Line began answering calls in 1983, the staff has provided answers to more than 1,000,000 contacts. Lung Line and Physician Line nurses also assist in the scheduling process for those interested in a new pulmonary, allergy, rheumatology or immunology evaluation at National Jewish Health.

Who Should Contact Lung Line?

If you have questions on asthma, allergies or other lung diseases, please contact Lung Line and speak with a National Jewish Health nurse. Although they do not diagnose conditions or suggest specific medical care, they review topics to discuss with your healthcare provider, provide up-to-date information and free educational materials. Lung Line nurses will also answer your questions about National Jewish Health and send information about our patient care programs.

If you seek disease information or if you are interested in becoming a patient at National Jewish Health, contact a Lung Line nurse today by calling 1-800-222-5864 or e-mailing lungline@njhealth.org.
