Kindness and Caring Leads to Excellent Patient Experience

I am National Jewish Health and I received this story about how Dr. Rollins and his staff exemplified National Jewish Health and Science Transforming Life with every interaction of this patient visit.
“I was very pleased with my mom’s visit to see Dr. Rollins today. He was patient, kind, easy to understand and spoke to both of my parents with respect. The support staff was mostly not short of excellent: Connie made us feel comfortable and helped us find our way around; Steve, who did a breathing test was so patient and kind that mom easily finished the test and he even congratulated mom on what a good job she did! This was totally opposite from the experience we had at another hospital.
Mom was able to have an esophageal scope, blood draw-to test for allergies, a CT scan and an echocardiogram. It was so nice to have all those tests done in one trip, as Dr. Rollins seemed to know how difficult it was for my mom to get out.
Dr. Rollins gave us copies of his card and I even have his email address so I can ask him about the test results and let him know how mom is doing on the Rx’s.
The staff’s kindness and patience made a BIG difference for all of us.”
