Assistant Director, Human Resources
National Jewish Health, located in Denver, Colorado has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Assistant Director to direct its daily employment program and ensuring efficient & timely service to departments, applicants, vendors & government reporting agencies. Responsible for implementing HR policies & procedures, analyzing current recruitment systems & implementing necessary changes. Provides employee relations support to management and staff by advising and assisting in the interpretation and application of personnel policies, procedures and legal compliance. Acts as backup in the absence of the Chief HR Officer. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in executive, physician and high volume recruitment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, knowledge of Federal and State laws relating to HR, strong financial management and leadership skills.

The Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent communication, planning, financial management and computer skills.
Education
Bachelor degree in Human Resources Administration or related field required.
Certification and Licensure
None.
Work Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of related Human Resources and supervisory experience required.
